Who You Are

The ideal candidate is a dedicated Social Worker committed to enhancing independence and coping skills in families. You possess a strong grounding in social work practice, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You are empathetic, non-judgemental, flexible, and able to advocate effectively for clients in various settings.

What the Job Involves

This role involves assisting people in resolving major difficulties and enhances their independence. You'll conduct assessments, devise family plans, and implement person-centered interventions in line with legislation and council policies. You will handle complex and high-risk cases, participate in decision-making forums, and work collaboratively with colleagues across sectors to deliver appropriate services. Regular supervision and support will be provided to foster your professional development.
